Cooking Classes
Dandenong Community and Learning Centre (DCLC) offers an introductory course in:
- Learning basic methods of cookery
- Preparing appetisers, main meals and desserts
- Working effectively with others in a busy kitchen environment
- Using hygienic practices for food safety
- Cleaning kitchen premises and equipment
Cooking Class
Participants will complete the course with:
- An understanding of the skills required to work in a commercial kitchen
- Knowledge on a career pathway in commercial cookery
- A class recipe book
- A certificate of participation
