Cooking Classes

Dandenong Community and Learning Centre (DCLC) offers an introductory course in:

  • Learning basic methods of cookery

  • Preparing appetisers, main meals and desserts

  • Working effectively with others in a busy kitchen environment

  • Using hygienic practices for food safety

  • Cleaning kitchen premises and equipment

Cooking Class

Participants will complete the course with:

  • An understanding of the skills required to work in a commercial kitchen

  • Knowledge on a career pathway in commercial cookery

  • A class recipe book

  • A certificate of participation
